Fun Facts
I start to date my husband after the second year I came to this country , one foggy night he was driving and I said to him "what a froggy night" he laugh and make the sound of the frog. I still have a lot of world in English that get scramble in my vocabulary, but I had learn how to go around and express my ideas clearly.
About Me
I am mother of two kids, a boy 13 years old and girl 11-year-old. I am Colombian, I love to dance "Salsa". I comfortable with changes and I adapt quickly to all the situation. I am very optimist person , I help in the projects of my community
Experience
I am a teacher volunteer at the Faith Formation of my parish. I have been teaching for three years to six and seven graders. Also I volunteer at the library and do the story time in Spanish every Wednesday and Thursday for kids from one to 4 year olds. In my work I use to trained my coworkers
Approach
One of my younger brothers have learning disabilities, He did not learn to Write or do Math in the school (back in 70’si in Colombia). I was 18 years old, when I realize that he struggle to sell coffee and water in the streets, I started to teach him addition and subtraction, I used several learning approaches and after two years he grab these concepts. I will show the same enthusiasm and persistence to help my students to reach their high potential
