Fun Facts

I love science but my background in high school was performing arts and theater! I still sing in a choir called the Radcliffe Choral Society in college and love performing. I also began rock climbing about a year ago, so you might see me at the climbing gym!

About Me

I am a rising sophomore at Harvard University planning on studying Integrative Biology, Biostatistics, or Human Evolutionary Biology. When I graduate, I hope to pursue doctorate program in a biology related field, continue writing, and learn about the exciting field of Systems Theory.

Experience

Each summer in high school, I worked as a Camp Counselor at a music camp and as a Teacher's Assistant. From this I gained experience teaching children ages 8-14 music and theater. Then, I volunteered with an organization that seeks to help students who have recently immigrated to the United States with reading comprehension and math. Last summer, I tutored ACT and SAT math and science, as well as middle school math.

Approach

I believe that everyone has the ability to develop a love of learning and that it is important to work with each individual's unique learning style. I will do my best to adapt and taylor my approach to each students' needs while helping them synthesize information without simply memorizing.
