I am secretly aiming to be the next American Idol--ok just kidding. But I do love singing and have been studying it for over five years. I'm also really into health and fitness, am a big Crossfit fan, so yes, we can talk about working out, even though I'm a girl.

About Me

I am a recent graduate of maryland/columbia">columbia">maryland/columbia">columbia-university">maryland/columbia">columbia">maryland/columbia">Columbia University with a B.A. in Financial Economics. I also had a double major for most of college in Music, although I did not finish it, because I studied abroad at Tsinghua University, Beijing. My dreams are to be an entrepreneur and open my own business.

I've tutored many students regarding college admissions essays, SAT/GMAT/GRE prep one-on-one and as a class TA. My specialty is writing and reading-comprehension/new-york/manhattan">reading comprehension and working with international students.

My philosophy is work smart, not hard. This applies to everything in life, especially when it comes to learning. There are effective ways of learning, and ineffective ways. Regardless of what I am manhattan">tutoring, the first step is to explore a studying method that works for the individual. More results in less time, and better results with less effort should be the goal.
