I enjoy traveling and journaling about those experiences. I also like to write creative little stories based on my travels and experiences. I am always hungry and thinking about food; what to cook and how to cook it with my own personal mark on it.

About Me

I am a recent college graduate from the University of Iowa where I majored in Elementary Education. It was here I truly learned my love and desire to help kids learn. I finished college with over a 3.0 and graduated with above a 3.5 in my major.

I have very informal brooklyn">tutoring experience but have been a classroom teacher for the last few years. I experienced a variety of age ranges from teaching third grade in rural Iowa, to teaching kindergarten and first grade in dublin">Dublin, Ireland, to finally teaching middle school in Brooklyn, New York. With all of these experiences I know how to draw out the best in students and have them fully realize their capabilities and that the sky is the limit.

My approach to brooklyn">tutoring is to foster a level of safety and comfort throughout the process. Each student has the right to learn and it is important for their potential to be realized by not only the teachers and parents but themselves as well. I bring a high energy to brooklyn">tutoring and try and design lessons to be as interactive and as fun as possible!
