I am a writer and musician. I've played guitar since about 12 years of age. I am a passionate advocate for environmental awareness. I believe that all people are creative and ought to be encouraged in creative activities.

About Me

Education is a passion of mine. Critical analysis, reading and writing are key characteristics of a good education and are required in competitive careers. I am very good at developing these characteristics in students and helping them understand their importance. My undergraduate studies were in English and Environmental History at U.C. Berkeley. Where I focused on literature and philosophy of the 20th century. I am currently a graduate student studying Environmental Ethics and World Religions at boston-university">Boston University.

I have extensive experience boston">tutoring critical reading, writing, and the verbal section of SAT and am well qualified for what is listed on my profile. I am the first in my family to graduate college and go on to graduate studies and I benefit from the patience, discipline, and sympathy my own educational history has engendered in me

To be academically successful one must accept that wisdom is much more than memorizing facts. Rather good students foster ingenuity and confidently exhibit their ability as critical thinkers. I've learned that effective teachers nurture aware and mindful students. I look forward to passing on this wisdom!
