Fun Facts
Earlier this year, I published my first book! This was a fun and rewarding experience. When I was young, my family owned part of Lake Erie and operated a fishing business; now, I still love fishing and am ay Venice Pier almost every weekend!
About Me
I am an English student at UCLA, with a secondary major in History of Religion. I plan to obtain a PhD and pursue a career in academia after my time here is finished!
Experience
I specialize in essay and college application help, and am available to assist you no matter what stop of the writing process you're in! I have 3 years experience in test prep for the following tests: general SAT prep, SAT Reading & Writing, SAT Subject Tests (U.S. History, World History, English, French), AP U.S. History, AP English Language, AP English Language, AP English Literature, AP Psychology, and AP Human Geography.
Approach
I find it most helpful to introduce material in ways you personally connect to, and in academic writing I find this to especially important: essays written by a hand interested in the content will always be more pleasurable to read (and grade!) I also do my best to help students find a way to increase your connection to the material, making your motivation in your work more meaningful and long-lasting.

AP English Tutoring
I myself took AP English, excelling in class and receiving the highest score of 5 on the AP test. Additionally, I have 3 years experience in tutoring this subject. I am available for both AP Literature and AP English Language.
AP History Tutoring
In high school, I took AP US History and passed with the highest school of 5. Throughout college, I have also taken a number of higher level history classes, including those that specialize in US History, early European History, and World History. I have experience tutoring for the AP test for 3 years

I am a current undergrad at UCLA majoring in English. I am versed in all areas of standardized English testing and specialize in easy editing. From middle school to university level, I have assisted in every level of the writing process.
Religion Tutoring
I am a 2nd year History of Religion Major with a specialization in Judeo-Christian texts and interactions. I have taken many classes in both the theology and history of the Old and New Testaments. In addition, I am crafting a thesis in the Bible as Literature, and am well-versed in all parts of the Bible (including Catholic and most Protestant canons). Other subjects I am versed in include: Religion in Violence, Vedic Tradition, Christian history, Jewish history, and relationships between the Abrahamic faiths.
