I am very passionate about local, state and national politics because I deeply care about people. Just as I care about other people, I love to relax and enjoy myself with activities such as swimming and watching TV. In addition to swimming and watching TV, I love to attend local events around the community. I dream of a world where everyone is living a good life, such that everyone is able to enjoy their life.

About Me

I am an Eagle Scout and have a Bachelors Degree in Applied Mathematics with a Concentration in Physics from the University of California Riverside. After graduating from the University of California Riverside, I served as a City Year AmeriCorps Member then pursued tutoring through a couple of tutoring agencies until I found Frogtutoring. I see tutoring as a great opportunity to help people and eventually hope to become an elected official to help even more people.

Experience

As a City Year AmeriCorps Member, I mentored and tutored students in mathematics and even helped my partner teacher receive her teaching certification in Math by tutoring her in higher level mathematics. After my service to City Year, I have been tutoring people through other organizations and hope to tutor more people through Frog Tutoring.

Approach

Attending school, I often struggled with learning the material being taught to me. What helped me to understand the material was having excellent tutors. This has helped me to become an excellent tutor myself. I always do my best to cater tutoring to the needs of the student. I have already helped many students with various subjects and hope to help more students through tutoring them.

Business Calculus Tutoring

I have a Bachelors Degree in Applied Mathematics. This degree required me to take Calculus classes, which includes touches on Business Calculus. Having such familiarity makes me a good tutor in Business Calculus, as I already have tutored one in Business Calculus.

Calculus I Tutoring

I started my first Calculus class back when I was a sophomore in high school. After taking this Calculus class, I took more Calculus classes so I am very familiar with Calculus 1. As a matter of fact, I have a Bachelors Degree in Applied Mathematics. Within a year of receiving this degree, I tutored my partner teacher in Calculus 1 so that she could get her Teaching Credentials in Mathematics.

Calculus 2 Tutoring

I took Calculus 2 at the beginning of my college career. After taking Calculus 2, I took a lot more math classes afterward to the point that I have a Bachelors Degree in Applied Mathematics. Asides from this degree, I have tutored a student in Calculus 2.

Calculus 3 Tutoring

Calculus 3 was a Calculus class where I was really starting to understand Calculus as the things I were thought started to come together. Using the things, I learned in Calculus 3, I took higher level Mathematics courses. Eventually, I got my Bachelors Degree in Applied Mathematics.

College Algebra Tutoring

The first Algebra class I ever took was in the 7th grade and not high school. Doing well in Algebra by receiving As in my classes, I know the material very well. As a matter of fact, I have intensive experience tutoring in Algebra when I tutored students in Algebra. So I know that I will be great at tutoring Algebra.

Economics Tutoring

I took my first Economics course in high school and eventually a few more in college. In every economics class I took, I received an A in every one of them. I am very numerically oriented and this has helped me to do well and tutor in Economics.

Elementary Statistics Tutoring

I took Elementary Statistics in college and understood the material very well. Eventually, I got As in other Statistics courses and even did research in Statistics. Combining my math skills, which is often necessary for Statistics, I am capable of tutoring in Elementary Statistics.

GED Tutoring

In addition to a High School Diploma, I also have a Bachelors Degree. Achieving these educational milestones, I have gained the breadth of knowledge necessary to tutor people in the GED. As a City Year AmeriCorps Member, my tutoring helped people to stay in school.

Math Tutoring

Growing up, I learned that I do very well in Mathematics and received many As in Mathematics. As a matter of fact, I have pursued a major in Applied Mathematics and have a Bachelors Degree to show for it. I have tutored many students in various Math subjects and will be happy to tutor anyone who asks me for help.

Math Advance Tutoring

Growing up, I learned that my strong suit is Mathematics. I have taken many advanced courses in Mathematics as early as 7th grade. Eventually, I received my Bachelors Degree in Applied Mathematics. With my Bachelor's Degree, I have tutored many students in Mathematics, as well as helped a math teacher receive her teaching certification by tutoring her in advanced mathematics.

Micro-Economics Tutoring

My first experience with Micro-Economics was in my first Economics class back in high school. I took both Elementary Micro-Economics and Intermediate Micro-Economics in college and received an A in both of these courses. With this experience, I am capable of tutoring Economics.

Physics I Tutoring

Being great at Mathematics, I decided to explore Physics. In my first Physics course, I was fascinated with the material I was learning. With this fascination, I hope to tutor others to develop a fascination for Physics.

Physics II Tutoring

Being fascinated with Physics 1, I decided to take another Physics course. Getting deeper into Physics, I eventually decided to get my Bachelors Degree in Applied Mathematics with a Concentration in Physics. With this degree, I hope to help people in Physics.

Political Science Tutoring

Growing up, I started to learn the type of government we live in. As a result of the government we live in, I became fascinated with government, hence developing an interest in Political Science. In these past few years, I have greatly become involved in the political process and this has sharpened my skills in political science.

Pre Calculus Tutoring

I took Pre Calculus Honors in the first half of my Sophomore Year and only saw this as the beginning of learning more complex mathematics. Learning this more complex mathematics has made tutoring Pre Calculus a breeze for me. I have a Bachelors Degree in Applied Mathematics and will be happy to tutor people in Pre Calculus.

Trigonometry Tutoring

My first exposure to Trigonometry was when I took Geometry Honors back in the 8th grade. As I progressed through the math courses, I have become more familiar with Trigonometry. Eventually, I learned more math and obtained my Bachelors Degree in Applied Mathematics.

Algebra Tutoring

I took Algebra 1 Honors in the 7th grade because of how good I was in math and even received an A in the course. This was the start of me going on an Honors and AP Path for Mathematics. Eventually, I received a Bachelors Degree in Applied Mathematics. After receiving this degree, most of the students I have tutored were in Algebra 1.

Algebra II Tutoring

I took Algebra 2 Honors as Freshman and this sharpened my Algebra skills with another A. From here on out, I knew that I am going to be taking a lot more math to the point of a Bachelors Degree. There have been a couple of times I have tutored students in Algebra 2, as I fondly remember helping two prepare for an Algebra 2 Test.

AP Physics Tutoring

I have taken many Physics classes in college so I will make a great tutor in AP Physics since it is college level Physics. The college courses I took in Physics fascinated me that I decided to have a concentration in Physics for my Bachelors Degree in Applied Mathematics. So far, I have tutored a couple of students in Physics and will be glad to tutor more.

AP Statistics Tutoring

I took Statistics in college and learned most of the material you would learn in an AP Statistics class. As I took more Statistics classes, I received an A in them. In addition to taking classes in Statistics, I did some research in Statistics at the university.

Calculus Tutoring

I did not take regular Calculus in high school because I took AP Calculus BC. Taking AP Calculus BC, I know that I am very capable in tutoring Calculus. I have taken a lot more Calculus classes than this and even have a Bachelors Degree in Applied Mathematics.

Calculus AP Tutoring

I took AP Calculus BC as a high schooler and this was only the beginning of Calculus classes for me. After taking all these Calculus classes, I took more math classes so that I obtained a Bachelors Degree. Within a year of obtaining my Bachelor's Degree, I tutored my partner teacher in Calculus to help her receive her Teaching Certification in Mathematics by using my AP Calculus BC Study Guide.

Geometry Tutoring

My first major Geometry class was taking Geometry Honors as an 8th grader. After successfully completing Geometry Honors, I took a lot more math classes in high school and college to the point that I have a Bachelors Degree in Applied Mathematics. With a Bachelors Degree, I have already tutored a few students in Calculus.

History Tutoring

I really enjoyed learning about History in high school and apply it a lot more in my life today than I thought I would. Applying the history I have learned, it is my hope to help other students in history as well. In doing so, I will do my best to relate history to our lives.

Physics Tutoring

I took many Physics classes and learned how fascinating it can be. This is because Physics is Applied Mathematics. For my degree in Applied Mathematics, I did an Emphasis in Physics. So far, I have tutored one in Physics but I hope to tutor more in Physics in the future.

Pre Algebra Tutoring

I skipped over Pre Algebra because of how good I am in Math. Instead, I went straight over to Algebra 1 Honors in the 7th grade. Taking Algebra 1 Honors was the beginning of an Honors and AP path for the math classes I took. I took more Math classes in college and received a Bachelors Degree in Applied Mathematics for all the classes I took.

SAT Math Tutoring

When I took the SAT, I took the Math Level 2 Subject Test in addition to the general Math portion. I received a 720 on the Math and a 780 on the Math Level 2 Subject Test. These scores show that I will be excellent in providing SAT Prep Math.

Middle School Math Tutoring

The only Middle School Math I really ever felt I took was 6th-grade math since I entered an Honors path shortly afterward. I stayed on the Honors path through high school and then it was onto AP courses and Math courses in college. Coming out of college, I graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Applied Mathematics.

Elementary Math Tutoring

In elementary school, I learned that Math is my strong suit. This proved to be true throughout middle school, high school, and even college. I graduated from college with a Bachelors Degree in Applied Mathematics.

ACT Math Tutoring

Having a Bachelors Degree in Applied Mathematics, I know that I will easily be able to tutor ACT Prep Math. I have some exposure to the questions and tricks that the ACT may pose. It is my hope to help these students ace the ACT.

Piano Tutoring

When I was little, I became interested in playing the piano. Being interested in playing the piano, I had a piano instructor for a few years. With the piano skills I have learned from my piano instructor, I would like to transfer the skills to others.

Violin Tutoring

Over 15 years ago, I started playing the violin and did so for throughout my time in school. Playing the violin, I feel, has given me many opportunities in life. I wish to provide others the opportunity in life when it comes to teaching the violin.

Microsoft Excel Tutoring

Growing up, I learned to use Microsoft Excel on many projects. These projects included a lot of data entries. At City Year, I received some special training in Microsoft Excel to do service projects. It is my hope to help others become familiar with Microsoft Excel.

Microsoft PowerPoint Tutoring

When I had to make a lot of presentations, I turned to Microsoft PowerPoint. Doing a lot of presentations, I used special tools to carry out these presentations. I am happy to help out anyone in Microsoft PowerPoint who may want to do a presentation or learn a new skill.

Microsoft Word Tutoring

Microsoft Word is the most frequent Microsoft application I use as it helps me to type most if not all of my documents. With so many documents to type, it will come handy for a lot of people. I am happy to help anyone old or new to Microsoft Word.
