I enjoy playing classical guitar in my free time, alongside devouring books and pursuing astrophotography. I also like to explore the outdoors, by way of hiking and snow skiing. Apart from those, I have a keen interest for numismatics and maintain a humble coin collection.

About Me

I am a recent college graduate with degrees in physics and history, including a minor in mathematics. I have an interest and passion for teaching others the subjects that I have acquired a thorough grasp of. Specifically, I feel that I can be of the most help in math and science.

I have managed to assist several of my close friends (and even family members) in various technical subjects, which included a majority of math help, from elementary levels all the way through post-Calculus (Differential Equations, Applied & Complex Analysis). My experience with teaching science is very similar: Over the past few years I have offered insight into fields such as Electromagnetic physics, Optics, Thermodynamics, Astronomy -- very often re-working a given classmate's strategy to tackling homework assignments, exams, and even labs. I also spent many a semester re-designing my college curricula to see what could work better for an individual student.

My personal approach to chicago">tutoring is to nail down the really important concepts within a given subject area, and then expound upon those with much repetition. I believe that consistent reinforcement of key topics is the surest means to success. Additionally, I am a firm practitioner of placing more focus upon trouble spots within the scope of each distinct case. If the student is struggling with say, integration within Calculus I, but fully grasps differentiation, then I would most certainly place the emphasis upon the former. My goal is to leave the student feeling more confident and well-rounded with the topic/subject at hand.
