I love to sing, and read. I enjoy painting although it is not my strongest suit! I enjoy the arts and helping people. Above all helping others is my passion. I hope to become an oncology physician so I can live out that dream!

About Me

I am a senior at wayne-state-university">Wayne State University and Henry Ford College, I am well on my way to success, I am thriving in school and I intend to continue to do so. I am pursuing a bachelor's degree in nursing, a minor in psychology, and have full intentions of applying for medical school upon receiving my bachelor's degree

I am the second oldest of six children, I detroit">tutor all four of my younger siblings on a daily basis. This has really shown me how much it means to me to help others. I am ecstatic to watch students thrive, and feel accomplished in everything they do. I also detroit">tutor a third grader who is working to improve her reading skills , she is now above her expected reading level.

Throughout elementary school I had struggled with reading until I was assigned a "special teacher." Or at least that is what I called her. She had given me a new approach to something I had began to accept as unfathomable. I began to like reading! I was surprised to learn that reading can be fun. I have adopted that mentality, I make learning fun! I adjust my approach to a fun learning session that is compatible for each of the students I work with. Test scores improve, but more importantly the student learns, and enjoys doing so.
