Fun Facts

I love food, especially seafood. I love to watch and play sports, particularly basketball and track. Those were my high school favorites. I actually competed for the State Title in triple jump my senior year at the LSU stadium. I have been enjoying playing Checkers for years, and currently undefeated too. I'm also a dog lover!

About Me

I am a maryland/towson">towson-university">maryland/towson">Towson University sophomore majoring in Business Administration with a concentration in Legal Studies, with the plan to go onto law school with a focus of corporate law and private practice, and also obtain my MBA as a dual degree. I also plan to delve into several business avenues, including real estate and insurance. I have a strong background of volunteerism, community involvement, and work ethic. I'm involved with quite a few organizations on campus, mainly Pre-Law Society and Autism Speaks.

I have experience maryland/maryland/baltimore">baltimore">tutoring people in elementary up to college. I have worked in an elementary for one school year. Voluntarily I have tutored several people throughout my academic years just out of generosity. My freshman year in college, I was employed through my university as an athletic student maryland/maryland/baltimore">baltimore">tutor, where I tutored foreign exchange students in the areas of English and Writing. I assisted students with their every day work and assignments, and monitored their progress several times a week.

My approach when maryland/maryland/baltimore">baltimore">tutoring someone is to first discover their personality. maryland/maryland/baltimore">baltimore">Tutoring is more than just teaching someone information. People are more susceptible to learn when they are comfortable with who they are learning from. I like to get to know whoever I am maryland/maryland/baltimore">baltimore">tutoring and make them feel like we can relate. From there, I can also learn which methods are best for them when it comes to absorbing material. People learn in different ways. Rather than beating information into someone’s head I give them the starting inch they need and allow them to work from there, giving help when needed.
