I am currently 20 years old and on track to graduate a semester early from maryland/towson">towson-university">maryland/towson">Towson University with a B.S. in science/maryland/baltimore">computer science. Computers have always interested me since i was a child. I have excelled in math and computer classes throughout my academic career. I want to share my knowledge with students that need extra help. As an first grade student, I struggled with reading and went to a maryland/maryland/baltimore">baltimore">tutor where I learned to read. I now love reading. I hope that I can provide this experience for other students
I enjoy teaching my 8 year old little brother and 16 year old sister when they are stuck on math problems, as well as teaching my wrestling classes. I am very good at communicating with students of all ages.
When I teach wrestling, I try to break the move up into manageable pieces that are easily remembered. After that, I have the students give it a try. I think watch their attempts and make adjustments as needed. I apply this method to maryland/maryland/baltimore">baltimore">tutoring. Giving the students what they need to try a problem on their own and guiding them through the process helps them reinforce what they are learning without me just telling them how to do it.
