Fun Facts
I grew up wanting to be a published author of children stories. I spent most of my childhood writing and illustrating short stories. One of my stories was published in a book of short stories when I was in the second grade. However, I developed a love for chemistry and I've left my writing career in the past for now.
About Me
I am a senior chemistry major at Georgia State University with a biochemistry concentration. My goals after I obtain my undergraduate degree is to go to pharmacy school and complete a Pharm D./PhD program. I am currently working in a medicinal chemistry research lab, and I am also a teaching assistant in a Chemistry 1211 (general chemistry) college course lab. Both of these jobs have resulted in a deeper passion for chemistry and pharmaceuticals. I enjoy helping others and sharing knowledge.
Experience
I am a teaching assistant for chemistry labs at Georgia State University which has given me the opportunity to work with students by increasing the students understanding of the material taught in lecture, and the proper way to use laboratory equipment.
Approach
My approach starts with understanding the point in where the student lost understanding. From there I use things such a pneumonics and acronyms to make material more memorable and fun. I find that creating a relaxed and fun environment relieves stress and causes studying to be more efficient.

Biochemistry Tutoring
I have taken Biochemistry 1 and 2 excelling with A's in both courses.
Chemistry Advance Tutoring
I started taking advanced chemistry in high school. Grasping an understanding early has allowed me to know the concepts thoroughly as i came to college and topics were reviewed and new topics introduced.
Chemistry I Tutoring
I am a teaching assistant in this chemistry college course. I excelled with an A in the class and have learned it enough to teach in the lab.
Chemistry II Tutoring
I excelled with an A in this class. My understanding of these concepts was expanded when I took my physical chemistry college course.
Chemistry Tutoring
I fell in love with chemistry in high school. I took three years of chemistry starting with basic chemistry, followed by honors, and then AP chemistry. I excelled in all classes with an A. Enjoying the lab influenced me to pursue a chemistry degree in college.
Biology Tutoring
I excelled with an A in the Introduction to Biiology I and II college courses. Mastering these concepts has made me confident in tutoring biology at a middle school level.
Science Tutoring
Science has always been my strongest topic. I am now pursuing a science degree in college, and science is a topic I have mastered which shows with an accumulated 3.9 GPA in science courses.
Homework Coach Tutoring
I am patient and compassionate when teaching children. I believe it is important that they understand homework problems in order to excel in the classroom.
