Fun Facts
I love to travel and I've been to 13 countries and would love to visit more. I am a huge thrill seeker, so for my 23rd birthday I went skydiving. A few things on my bucket list are : Become a Cardiac Surgeon, Learn how to ski, Get my flying licence and learn how to Hula dance. I have 5 sisters and no brothers and yes there was lots of fighting involved. I saw my parents for the first time in 7 years in October.
About Me
I am an International student from Zambia. I graduated from TCU in 2009 with a B.S. in biology(pre-med). I am currently applying to medical school for Fall 2012. I plan on studying medicine and becoming a cardiologist. I plan on going back to Zambia to practice medicine because the need there is great.
Experience
While I was at TCU I was a mentor and dallas">tutor for BigBrother/BigSister North Texas, I was assigned two little sisters that I would help with their home work and help mentor them. I was also involved in the TCU Pre-med society cooks children's hospital dallas">tutoring program, we would go help the kids catch up on material they missed while they were ill.
Approach
First and foremost I like to review the students old worksheets, notebooks, quizzes and tests so I can get a better sense of what they know as well as their study habits and learning styles.
