Fun Facts
I am a superb chef in Chinese cooking because of hanging out in my grandma's kitchen when I was little. I manage to cook more than three times a week for my roommates, friends and myself all throughout college.
About Me
I am a recent master's degree graduate from the washington-university">George Washington University in Washington DC where I also received my Bachelor's. I am currently looking for a full-time position in economic research and I hope I can tutor part-time.
Experience
As a leader of an English speaking conversation workshop for Chinese students, I have the experience of developing curriculum to maximize a 90-minute session in order to allow multiple English tutors to teach English to Chinese students at GWU. Through which I have gained much organizing skill and curriculum developing skill.
Approach
I was not particularly smart as a kid. It would often take me twice as long to learn anything comparing to my peers from tying my shoelaces to solving algebra. Because of the slow-paced and sometimes arduous of my learning process, I tend to remember them well. Therefore, as a teacher, I can fully sympathize with struggling students and tell them that with intentional practice, one can also succeed.
