Something you should know about me is that I love to swim and I love playing soccer! I love swimming so much I even became a lifeguard! I played varsity soccer in high school and take advantage of every chance I get to play in college! I have a younger brother and my family has moved 8 times since I was born. Crazy! I have lived all over the country and I've even lived in Switzerland.

About Me

I am a junior at the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida. I am a finance major in the business school. I have been on the Dean's List consecutively for two years now and I am a member of Golden Key National Honor Society. I have had 4 internships since I've been in college and when I graduate I hope to work in business with an exciting firm maybe in the fashion industry.

As a member and then president of National Honor Society in high school, I was able to phoenix">tutor student weekly and help my peers phoenix">tutor students. I also tutored students in my neighborhood in high school to earn some extra money. On my breaks home from college I frequently babysit and phoenix">tutor for families near by as often as I can.

I have found that it is easier for students to learn when they receive positive encouragement and when the teacher or phoenix">tutor relates to them in some way. When I am working with students I try to show them that I previously struggled with the subject at hand also and it's simple to learn the topic. I also try to provide as many real-life examples as possible and ask students questions so that they learn the material rather than giving them answers.
