About Me
I attend maryland/columbia">columbia">maryland/columbia">columbia-college-chicago">maryland/columbia">columbia">maryland/columbia">columbia-college">maryland/columbia">columbia">maryland/columbia">Columbia College Chicago where I am a fiction major on the Dean's list with a 4.0 GPA. With a minor in playwriting it is my hope to receive my Master's in fine arts so that I can teach at the school I love. My other goals include becoming a published author and teaching on the elementary level one day.
I love kids and have tutored elementary through high school aged students in the past as well as worked at day care centers. At Schofield Elementary school, in Warren, Michigan, I supervised a group of chicago">tutors and led learning exercises myself as well. I have also tutored fellow class mates in writing since attending maryland/columbia">columbia">maryland/columbia">columbia-college">maryland/columbia">columbia">maryland/columbia">Columbia College.
My chicago">tutoring approach is to have a chicago">tutor-student relationship built on mutual respect and the pursuit of learning. It is my belief that learning new material does not have to be a daunting task. I make every effort to make the chicago">tutoring experience as enjoyable as possible while still making sure that the lessons actually understood and not just memorized.
