Fun Facts
One thing about me is that I have a passion for the subject of mathematics. I am the oldest of two brothers, however, I have six other half-siblings. I was born and raised in Atlanta, GA for my whole life and I will continue to go to school here as I love it here. I love the summer, warm weather and spending time with friends and family.
About Me
I am a rising freshman at Morehouse College. I will be participating in the Dual-Degree Engineering program which allows me to spend three years at Morehouse and finish my last two years at Georgia Tech. I will get my Mathematics degree from Morehouse and I will get my Mechanical Engineering degree from Georgia Tech. After I graduate I plan to get my MBA. While in high school, I was on principal's list (having a GPA of 93% or higher) throughout all of my high school career.
Experience
While in high school I participated in Mu Alpha Theta. Mu Alpha Theta was a math club dedicated to tutoring students in mathematics and competing in math competitions. I tutored students about 1-2 times a week and had a blast whilst doing so. Tutoring students and genuinely helping them better understand concepts is something I love doing and I want to help as many students as I can. Aside from tutoring students, I also tutored many of my friends which would prove to be beneficial for them.
Approach
My tutoring approach consists of figuring out the root of the problem. I want to find out what exactly the students are confused about and I want to figure out why they are confused. I will then ask them to explain the concept to me and I will fix any discrepancies and I will help them understand the concept starting from the fundamentals. I have always enjoyed tutoring students and helping them understand. I aim to keep the spirits high and the minds learning.

Algebra Tutoring
Algebra is one of the fundamentals of calculus. I excelled in my algebra classes and my calculus class. Algebra is the area of mathematics where I have the most experience tutoring as most of the students who I tutored in Mu Alpha Theta needed Algebra help.

I did quite well on my AP Calculus exam as I scored a 5. During the school year, I did well in my class maintaining an unweighted A throughout the course of the school year. I would tutor my friends in the class on different concepts.

Middle School Math Tutoring
Math is a subject I take much pride in, taking this information into account I am confident in my ability to tutor middle school mathematics as this is comprised of the fundamentals needed to succeed in high school mathematics. I have middle school students while in Mu Alpha Theta.
Pre Algebra Tutoring
I am quite skillful in algebra as while I was in middle school I excelled in my algebra courses. While participating in Mu Alpha Theta I tutored some middle school kids and this would prove to be beneficial for them.
Elementary Math Tutoring
Although I have never tutored elementary students I am confident enough in my knowledge of mathematics that I feel I could effectively tutor math at this level. I also feel that I am good with kids and I would make sure the tutoring is both engaging and effective.
