I studied Drama at NYU, and am an actress and writer! I play tennis and swim, and desperately want a pet dog although I don't know if I want that responsibility yet!!

About Me

I double majored in Drama and History at NYU, juggling rehearsals with writing an Honors thesis my senior year! I grew up in Fairfield County (so I know how grueling the college process can be!). I am an actress and writer, currently working on developing a screenplay, and also work at a film distribution company in LA where I read scripts and provide in-depth synopses and commentary.

Experience

I spent two summers tutoring 5-8 year olds in French at the Alliance Francais of Greenwich. During college, I served as a teachers' assistant at NYU Tisch for reading comprehension, writing, and literature courses, working on-on-one and in small groups of freshmen and sophomores. I have also helped numerous friends study for AP courses and SAT tests in my summers home from college.

Approach

As an actor, I have learned how to joyfully engage and provoke curiosity among those around me, and prize personal connection in my one-on-one student relationships. I aim to be more than a tutor, but a mentor: I was lucky enough to be able to work with great tutors, whom I credit with my excellent testing scores and grades in high school. I know firsthand that the college application process can be nightmarish, and I strive to be an intellectual AS WELL as emotional resource to students.
