Fun Facts

I am passionate about sports and science and those are two quick things to learn a lot about me. I play soccer and football, primarily soccer now. These are my two favorite sports, but I do enjoy playing volleyball, tennis, etc. I also love my major, Biology, which I graduated with and I would love to inspire others to study it as well. I am the middle child of 3 and I've been to Oregon, Italy and France.

About Me

I have graduated from Fresno State, with a B.S. in Biology, currently I am applying to grad school and have take the GRE. My ultimate goal is to get a Ph.D and teach at a university or travel and study wildlife.

I have tutored for a company called Fresno Coral, I tutored two students in my area every week from January until May. I really enjoyed helping them learn more and gain more knowledge. Being able to work at frog, would help me even more.

My approach is to first let the student give the problem a shot, then I go over it with them, giving them hints and suggesting better ways and asking probing questions to help them think more critically. When they are able to deduce more, I reinforce that with positive feedback and help them as much as I can without giving the answer right away.
