I am a yogi and value the chance to be active and move my body! I have just recently been accepted into Teach For America, and I am so excited to begin this new experience!

About Me

I am a senior at Loyola chicago">University of Chicago graduating with a 3.79 GPA overall. I am a social work major, but originally started out as an elementary education major.

I tutored at a center in Indianapolis in high school working with kids of all ages. I also tutored a first grade boy throughout my first year of college at Butler University. The past three summers I have worked at Jameson Camp, which is a camp serving underprivileged children of all ages many of whom have minor social, emotional and learning challenges.

As an active member of the Dance Team and the secretary of the Key Club in high school, i understand how difficult it can be to balance homework and academics with one's personal interests and after school activities. I know school can be frustrating and challenging, and as a chicago">tutor my goal is to make school a little easier and to make homework and studying a little more fun. I am dedicated to helping children understand concepts and to helping them realize their strengths. Throughout these summers, I also have had the opportunity to witness first hand how vital education is in the mobility and success of a child. It is the groundwork as well as the foundation for life, and I believe I can help them stay on the right path.
