Fun Facts
I am a huge Alabama Crimson Tide football fan and have been since I was five. Furthermore, I will say that I've never been a fair weathered fan and liked them before they were phenomenal with Coach Nick Saban. My hobbies include fishing, hiking, and partaking in nature photography. Plus, I have never ridden a roller coaster with loops on them and have never broken a bone in my whole life. I would definitely not be fun to take to Six Flags.
About Me
I graduated from Georgia College and State University where I majored in political science and minored in Spanish. After college, I obtained ESL and paralegal certification to strengthen my education and lived in Chile and Colombia teaching English.
Experience
I have a total of a year and half's worth of teaching abroad in Chile and Colombia. In Chile, I taught English to teenagers at a private school called Hannover for six months and taught English to businessmen in Colombia for a whole year. I broad spectrum of teaching adults and kids. Additionally, I have been a substitute teacher for a year as well.
Approach
My style of tutoring is practical and I focus on the specific needs a student has. I let them tell me their problem areas and make their weaknesses turn into strengths. I've found that by listening to a person's needs, then it is effective in not wasting their time and getting to the point of what a problem is. Practical tutoring is done by either helping someone who is in school for a subject and help them with a textbook they're working with or by aiding someone after listening to their wants.

Government Tutoring
I was a political science major in college and have knowledge about how the local, state, and federal governments work. Additionally, I've had experience interning in Congress and can give unique insight about how this works. Furthermore, I was in political science honor society as well during my time in college and show you my dedication to the subject.
English Tutoring
I have a lot of experience in writing from my ESL, paralegal, and political science courses. From these courses, I'd be well-rounded in helping with this subject and showing people different perspectives about writing because this class is mainly about writing. Furthermore, I can help people with other aspects of the class as well.
AP History Tutoring
I have experience taking AP U.S. History in high school and I know what teachers expect out of this class. My teacher was a very hard grader and I can help people have detail in their papers for this class. Plus, I have a political science degree which is a social studies related field that includes history.
Spanish III Tutoring
I minored in Spanish while I was in college. Secondly, I was immersed in it while living abroad in Chile and Colombia. Plus, I was in Spanish Honor Society in high school as well.

I was a political science major in college and took several international studies classes. I made A's in all of these classes and made an A on my research paper about Iran's Nuclear Program. Plus, I've lived abroad and learned about countries as well.
History Tutoring
I was a political science major in college and it had a mix of history in some of my classes. I will be able to provide help with history about the formation of governance in the U.S. and help with strengthening a paper for any history class. Plus, I helped a friend make an A on a history paper once.
Criminal Justice Tutoring
I am certified in being a paralegal and I know how the criminal justice system works. Plus, I was a political science major as well and it intertwined with criminal justice. Furthermore, I made an A in my criminal justice class when I was in college.
ESL Tutoring
I am ESL certified and have extensive experience teaching English in Colombia and Chile. I really specialize in helping Latinos learn English because of my knowledge of English and Spanish. However, I can teach anyone English.
Writing Tutoring
My training in ESL certification helps with being able to teach people how to write better. I can help people write better without changing their style and show them how to clearly get their message across depending on the subject. Plus, I am a political science major and am paralegal certified. I did plenty of writing in those courses.
Geography Tutoring
I was a political science major in college and know where many places are in the world because of this. Plus, I played a lot of Geosafari as a kid and it helped me know the world more. Moreover, I have traveled the world and learned about cultures in person.
