Since moving to California, I have enjoyed being outdoors more. I love basketball. I also love cooking.
About Me
I am from Texas. I taught Algebra as part of Teach for America for two years before attending Stanford for grad school. I enjoy tutoring and working with students. I am very passionate about education.
Experience
I have been working with students and young kids for 5 years. I tutored classmates in college. I enjoyed teaching so much that I joined Teach for America. Since leaving the classroom, I still try to remain active teaching.
Approach
I want to empowering students to find their own connections to the subject material. You can get to a solution in math a number of different ways which is what makes math so special. I want to help students think critically and come up with their own approaches.
