Fun Facts
I was a competitive gymnast for over 15 years but unfortunately, I had to give it up upon entering college. I still enjoy staying active by trying out new exercise classes.
About Me
I am a graduate student studying Bioinformatics at Johns Hopkins University. I received my Bachelors degree from the pittsburgh">University of Pittsburgh in Bioinformatics in 2016. After I finish my Masters degree I plan on working in biotech research and then going on to get my Ph.D. in Bioinformatics.
Experience
In college, I enjoyed helping classmates not only arrive at an answer to a problem but also learn the subject material. I have experience teaching principles and then performing biology and chemistry experiments based off of the material.
Approach
The subjects of math and science have always come easily to me but as a child, I had trouble tapping into my passion for the subjects and excelling. As a tutor, I demonstrate my passion for these subjects and put a positive spin on subjects that may not seem interesting to the student.
