Fun Facts
Besides philosophy, my favorite subject is literature! To begin with, if it was not because of my interest in literature, I can say I wouldn't be able to really understand philosophy as I understand it now. It has also influenced me to write and become a potential author some day! My hopes are to be among the names of those like Virginia Woolf, and John Steinbeck, two of my major literary inspirations.
About Me
I am a college freshmen at Fresno Pacific University, majoring in Philosophy. I've always been a very involved individual with my education and I also emphasize the importance of it in the modern world. I've coordinated events before, two Art Shows and a protest. I always look for opportunities to grow as an individual and also help those around me. My career goals include becoming a college professor and also becoming a best selling author some day!
Experience
My senior year I had the opportunity to tutor students of all grade levels after school through my High School's tutoring program. This experience has enhanced my communication skills and one-on-one or group tutoring with various students. My experience was also improved by the open subject availability of the program, I was able to tutor any subject the students needed help with. With Frog Tutoring, I look forward to successfully aid any student that needs improvement in their education!
Approach
After accomplishing 12 years of school, I've observed the plethora methods of teaching. I've understood throughout my years that the only way to be a good student is to mimic or reciprocate the method when it is successful, and because of that, I am able to feel capable of being able to tutor. A tutor, like a teacher, must always find effective strategies to be able to teach. My approach encourages self-motivation in a student through understanding the importance and depth of the subject.

Philosophy
AP English Tutoring
I took two years of AP English courses, AP Literature, and AP Composition, and I've grown very knowledgeable about the content that should be expected in the tests. In both courses I received an A, and I was able to obtain a 2 in AP English Literature. I believe that I am skilled enough to help someone pass any AP English course.
English Tutoring
English Language Arts is one of my academic strengths and I have passed the majority of my English Courses with an A. I have also been in honors and AP English classes that have strengthened my skills for writing and reading comprehension. I am confident that I can help any student write an Essay that will surely impress the teacher!
Spanish I Tutoring
I am capable of tutoring for Spanish because of my fluency in the Spanish language. I had Spanish classes from K-12 in school, and graduated with the California State Seal of Bi-literacy in my diploma. Additionally, I also took AP Spanish courses and passed both AP Spanish Composition and culture with a 5 and AP Spanish Literature with a 4. Throughout my tutoring experience after school, I was multiple times a tutor for the language as well, and successfully helped many students with their homework or class assignments.

I had Spanish classes from K-12 in school, and graduated with the California State Seal of Bi-literacy in my diploma.
