About Me
I am a teacher at heart. One of the greatest pleasures in life for me is to see a child's face brighten when they learn new concepts or new skills. It gives me complete fulfillment to see a student I teach change for the better because of the difference I made in their life. Education for me is my way of giving hope to a student. This may read as "cheesy" and "cliche" but this is truly my calling and my life's work to give education and empower others to become the best they can be.
My atlanta">tutoring experience lies mainly in summer camp experiences. For three summers I tutored elementary aged students in all academic subjects, as well as, biblical studies while interning or a camp counselor at King's Kids Summer Camp of Marietta, GA and Bayshore Christian Ministries of East Palo Alto, CA.
Presently I atlanta">tutor Spanish and am about to take on a couple more students for elementary and math-middle-school/georgia/atlanta">middle school math. For my Spanish atlanta">tutoring sessions, I create the worksheets, develop the curriculum, as well as conduct the atlanta">tutoring sessions. Because the pupil is not taking regular foreign language classes, I am teaching the pupil the language for the first time.
I am highly visual personally and since my area of interest is more the elementary outreach, visuals are key in my teaching style. My style consists of verbal repetition and worksheet practice.
