About Me
I attended LaSalle University in Philadelphia for 5 years. When I graduated with honors, I received Degrees in Education, education/pennsylvania/philadelphia">Special Education as well as American Studies. I love to learn and that has lead me to a love to teach. My ultimate goal is to one day found my own academy for girls.
I have experience teaching and philadelphia">tutoring on many different levels from Pre-school to University level. My experiences have been extremely rewarding. There is no better feeling than helping a student achieve success, watching them have that "Aha!" moment.
My philosophy is based on helping the student develop a positive attitude towards learning. I know that learning new concepts can be challenging, especially if the student has been struggling. While everyone learns at their own pace, viewing problems not as problems but as puzzles waiting to be solved or ideas waiting to be grasped helps decrease the stress of schoolwork. This fosters a confident and positive approach to problem solving and leads to a love of learning for the future.
