Fun Facts
I love learning new languages, cultures and people. Theses are the reasons I decided to study English, Spanish and live abroad. When we learn a new language consequently we learn a new world, we become open-minded and we see life through other perspectives. I want to motivate my students how I am motivate in learning.
About Me
I am Brazilian, currently at the first year of my PhD in the Hispanic Linguistics Program at the University of New Mexico-USA. I did my Master`s degree in Teaching English as a Second Language at Kent State University - Ohio. I did my Bachelor`s degree in Languages and Literature with focus in English and Portuguese at the Federal University of Roraima - Brazil.
Experience
I have been an English/Portuguese translator for the International Office of the Federal University of Roraima for 7 years and for the Federal Court in Brazil for 5 years. I have been teaching English, Spanish and Portuguese for over 10 years to students from elementary school to university levels.
Approach
All my teaching, studying and international student experience allow me to understand better what are the students needs and how to guide them in order to have the best learning ever. I also believe that my motivation and passion for the language learning will also motivate my students to reach their goals.

I am a Portuguese native speaker. I just arrived in the USA. I know proper Portuguese pretty well, slangs and accents used in different regions in Brazil due to the fact that the place I used to live in Brazil has many immigrants from other regions, plus I have travel all Brazil due to my job as an English/Portuguese translator
