Fun Facts
I am an outdoor enthusiast! I love to go Rock Climbing, Backpacking, Kayaking, Caving, and anything outside. I just picked up playing the guitar and I love to exercise in the gym. I am the oldest of three and I am from Michigan. I have lived in Michigan, Ohio, Oregon, UTAH, and Illinois.
About Me
I am a Graduate Assistant for Outdoor Adventures at Northern Illinois University. I am in the Educational Psychology program, but hope to graduate with a MBA and PH.D in Industrial/Organizational Psychology. My ultimate goal is to be a private consultant for businesses and individuals.
Experience
I have experience working as a Wilderness Therapy Field Instructor, Backcountry Trip Leader, Outreach Desk Manager, GA assistant for Outdoor Adventure, and nurse support on a Neuro-Critical Care Unit. I have two bachelors degrees, one in Neuroscience and another in Exercise Science. I was pre-med and a honors student at The Ohio State University and travelled abroad multiple times.
Approach
I am a visual learner, so I like to follow a teachers lesson through some sort of physical writing or diagrams. I then convert those lessons into my own visual representations. I have always been exceptional at school, but with all of my credentials, I had to work extremely hard to get where I am now.
