I am a lover of music, and the arts. My greatest strengths lie in writing and anything that requires critical thinking, reading between the lines, or analyzing information. I have been a sort of leader for children for as long as I can remember, leading youth group sessions, childcare, babysitting, and of course tutoring.

About Me

I am a college student, my major is Philosophy with a minor in Business. Throughout my academic career I haver excelled at English, Literature, History, Politics, Environmental Science, Philosophy, and Psychology. I have been learning piano for around 6 years, and I've been singing since I was a child and joined choir for 3 years. One day I hope to be able to turn my creativity into a business, I am still very young and in early stages, but I have high hopes for the future.

Experience

I have not tutored for children in a while since I've been away at college, but I often participate in study groups and am a very engaging, curious person. I am naturally quite studious because I love to read and learn, and my gregariousness makes it easy to put information into a context that is simple enough to be absorbed like normal conversation. I hope that working with Frog Tutoring allows me to help people who are struggling, and that my students can teach me something too.

Approach

I am a very relaxed, amiable, and patient person. I don't have a specific approach for every student, because everyone is different and it depends more on how the student absorbs information, whether it be visually, tactically, or orally. There's a way to reach everyone as long as they have the desire to learn. But I find that the best thing I can do for someone is be supportive and show that I won't give up on them. Just that encouragement affects their performance immensely for the better.
