Fun Facts
A passion of mine is spending time with my family and friends. I love going outside or staying inside, but as long as my family or friends are there, I could do either! I also love to travel and try things I haven't before! I love my dogs because they are so much fun to play with, but they also love to cuddle up at nights!
About Me
I am a Tarleton State University graduate and am currently a Children's Minister at my church. I love working with children and helping them see that what they can't understand is possible for them to know if they try!
Experience
I taught 7th grade Math and tutored before school, after school, and during lunch to make sure my students understood what was taught to them during the day. I work with children at my church to tutor them in any subject areas they may need help in!
Approach
As a child and teenager, I grew up not loving math and most subject areas because my teachers didn't love teaching. I had a select few teachers who had a passion for teaching and those were all my math teachers! Because of these teachers, I learned to love math, too. I had to go to tutoring to get better at what I was learning, which helped me see that sometimes, one to one teaching is necessary because it gives students the attention they may not get in a classroom full of students.

Algebra Tutoring
I taught Algebra last year to my 7th grade Math class. I also tutored those students before school, after school, or during lunch if they needed more assistance understanding the topic. My Common Core (4-8) degree includes Algebra, which I can teach or tutor.
Homework Coach Tutoring
Last year, I taught and tutored students in middle school. I was able to help them with any homework they had before school, after school, or during lunch in any subject area. Even though my experience is in Math, I was able to help with their homework in any subject area.

Elementary Math Tutoring
Although I have not taught Elementary Math, I have had a lot of tutoring sessions with elementary age students. I am a Children's Minister so I work a lot with elementary age kids and help my students with any homework/Math/subject area they may need.
