Fun Facts

When I am not teaching or working on my thesis, i spend my time singing in the on campus choirs at USF. I also train brazilian jiu jitsu at a gyn in Japantown. I also go to karaoke with friends biweekly.

About Me

I am currently a masters student at USF pursing my degree in physical chemistry and have a GPA of 3.7. This year I have published research papers in the journal Chemical Physics Letters and the Journal of Physical Chemistry-A. I am finishing up my masters thesis here at USF in december, and will be pursing my PhD at the University of Tokyo in Fall of 2019.

Experience

I am currently working at USF as a chemistry TA and tutor. I have been a tutor and TA with USF since January 2016. I also served as an organic chemistry TA at my undergraduate university

Approach

Chemistry is a vast and confusing subject which really needs the lesson to be geared towards the individual. Most of the textbooks are generic and are hard to interpret, which is part of the reason why learning chemistry is so difficult. It is my job as a tutor to convey the information in a way that is easy for the student to understand.
