Fun Facts
I really enjoy outdoor activities. Some of my favorite activities include running, hunting, cooking, and playing video games. I also recently started doing yoga and was surprised by how much I enjoy it.
About Me
I am a senior at UMKC studying chemistry, and I am a pre-dental student. Next fall I will begin dental school, a longtime passion of mine that I have worked very hard to achieve.
Experience
Last year I spent some time tutoring and found that I really enjoy it. It's a wonderful feeling to sit down with a student and identify problematic topics, and leave the session with them having the knowledge and confidence necessary to succeed.
Approach
I really believe that struggle is an important part of the learning process. I like to find practice problems and questions for students to try on there own, and observe where they are struggling. This allows me to identify areas that are lacking quickly and efficiently, and helps deter from spending too much time on aspects that are already understood well.
