Fun Facts
I absolutely love to play tennis and find any chance I can to go out and play! I have also been to four countries including Spain, The Netherlands, Belgium, and Uganda. I would definitely say out of the countries I've visited, Uganda was my favorite!
About Me
I am a junior at the University of Missouri-Kansas City studying chemistry and also minoring in psychology. I am on the pre-med track and hope to attend medical school after I graduate! I am extremely passionate about global health and eventually want to work at various health clinics in developing countries.
Experience
In high school, I was apart of a program called the Freshman Mentoring Program where I spent time out of my day a couple of times a week mentoring a group of freshmen for their entire first year. I would help them with classes as well as help them learn how to manage their time. I was also a teaching assistant for biology and human physiology where I would help students if they had any questions about certain assignments during class.
Approach
Throughout all of my years of school, I have learned that there are great teachers and there are horrible teachers. I have always found that the great teachers made learning fun and they were always able to break down the material in a way that the students could actually understand. As a tutor, I like to try and explain the material in the simplest way possible as well as present it in an easier way such as using real world examples.
