Fun Facts

I am left handed and have a twin brother who also attends dallas-baptist-university">Dallas Baptist University with me.
I like playing piano, guitar, percussion...anything. Music takes up a lot of my life.
I'm in a 180 person choir at DBU, which consists of all of the Music majors. We sound like angels when we all sing together in the chapel. It's beautiful!
I would someday love to travel the world, but first I am working on conquering the United States.

About Me

I am a freshman at dallas-baptist-university">Dallas Baptist University and I plan to become a music therapist to help cancer patients undergoing chemo and radiation. My GPA is at least a 3.5, but not specified as it is not yet the end of the semester. I have won quite a few awards in music, such as Texas Music Scholar, division one ratings in UIL State competitions, etc. I have also won academic awards and graduated top 10% in my class last June. I was a leader in our school's National Honor Society, a youth leader at my church, drumline lieutenant, and team captain of our Relay for Life team.

I haven't had a ton of OFFICIAL dallas">tutoring experience, but I have always been the friend that helped everyone with their homework, and helped out younger students with the work I'd already done. I have also, briefly, volunteered on campus at our international dallas">tutoring. Going to tutorials myself has been beneficial not only to my own learning, but also in my knowledge of how to approach teaching things to students in a dallas">tutor/student relationship.

I don't think that schoolwork should be a mountainous problem in any kid's life, in any sense. How well a student does in school does not define them as a person, but each student should have the opportunity to do everything they do to the very best of their ability. It is my belief that I should always do everything the best that I can, and with the opportunity to dallas">tutor students, I will absolutely do everything I can to help them so that school can be fun and enjoyable and not just stress and dreadfulness.
