Fun Facts
One fact about me is that I really enjoy reading. Whenever I am not doing homework or working at my part-time job, I like to sit on my coach and read my interesting books. Sometimes, my best friend and I like to meet up and exchnage stories that that we have written that we came up with as we read our books. I have written quite a number of stories and I hope someday to have a classroom where I can share them with others.
About Me
I am currently a transfer student entering my fourth year of college at San Jose State University. I am majoring in English with a Prep for Teaching and am hoping to pursue a career as a teacher in the near future. I have known since I was about 8 years old that I wanted to be a teacher, as teaching life lessons to kids has always been a dream of mine and I would love to make it a reality.
Before entering SJSU, I went to De Anza College, where I decided that I'd teach English, my best subject.
Experience
Back in my early years of high school, I would go to my former fifth grade reading teacher's classroom and assist her in tutoring some students who were struggling with their English skills. Even though it was only a voluntary experience, I enjoyed it immensely and it is what prompted me to pursue a career in teaching.
Approach
When I was younger, I too struggled with school. No matter where I went, I just couldn't find someone who was willing enough to help me with what I needed help with. That is why, if I get thsi job, I will bring my full potential to the table and help these kids get what they deserve so that they too will have a prosperous future ahead of them.

English Tutoring
As required, I took English for all of my semesters in high school. For the majority of the semeseters, I got B's. I really did enjoy my Englsih classes, where I excelled in my writing skills and by the time I was a senior, I got high scores on almost all of my English essays.
