Fun Facts
Anyone who meets me quickly learns that I am very passionate about animals. I have an emotional support animals: Dany, a Red Heeler, as well as a potential service dog in training: Xylophone. I am also an avid nature-lover. As an Eagle Scout, I have spent a lot of time outdoors, even serving as a guide for several adventures. I have a lot of passions, currently I am pursuing my passion for education, computers, and community involvement.
About Me
I am pursuing a B.S. in science/connecticut/new-haven">Computer Science at Regis University as a non-traditional student. I have experience tutoring for several years followed by a year venturing into independent contract work as a web developer. I have since started to tutor again as a means to afford rent while attending college.
Experience
As an Eagle Scout, I had the chance to teach people of all ages a variety of camping skills, leadership and team development, and time prioritization. Entering college, I began tutoring students in both lower division classes and my own courses. Since then, I have been focused on taking advantage of every opportunity to expand my own knowledge and practical experience, as well as providing whatever help possible to others in the process of learning.
Approach
As a young child, I was diagnosed with autism; being neurodivergent myself, I have learned to apply a wide variety of tutoring methods based on individual needs. I am used to working with atypical learning styles and differences. I believe each approach should be catered to the individual, emphasizing accessibility while challenging them both in content and approaches to content. Each individuals thought patterns, process, and methods are invaluable

Piano Tutoring
I have been talking classical piano lessons since the age of 5. I have continued to further my practice at TCU by taking lessons with Harold Martina. I am comfortable tutoring technical skills, sight reading, basic theory, and techniques to practice. I can teach beginner level piano students looking for help with their class, looking to explore a new subject, or students who want to play for fun.
