Fun Facts

The first thing people notice about me is that I love playing and watching basketball; the Phoenix Suns are my favorite team and I constantly talk about what's going on in the league. When I was a kid, I wanted to be an optometrist (eye doctor), but switched to accounting after taking a class in high school. I love playing video games, with NBA 2K series being my favorite.

About Me

I am a graduate student at Arizona State. I'm pursuing my Master of Accountancy degree, and have accepted an offer to join a public accounting firm once I graduate. I'm also working to earn my CPA license and have completed 3 of the 4 exams. In the future, I want to be a partner at a firm, or maybe even start my own firm!

I have not held a job phoenix">tutoring students, but have constantly helped classmates and friends with courses they've struggled in. I enjoy being able to help people understand a concept and apply it to their studies. I sincerely enjoy watching someone grow from not being able to grasp a subject, to easily solving problems. Working with Frog phoenix">Tutoring, I'll be able to use my academic success not only for my own benefit, but also to help others!

Through my studies, I've learned that anyone can learn anything, so as long as they are motivated. My approach is to help others become enthusiastic about their learning and guide them through the materials so they do the learning themselves. I only serve as a guide to ensure they remain positive, motivated and on the right track, but I let them do the "walking." I know that in the end, students will feel a great sense of accomplishment when they see they managed to absorb the material on their own.
