I have a huge passion for the field of engineering, innovation, and design! A hobby I love to serve my passions with are motorcycling and dirt biking. I have also built a fifth-wheel trailer home on my own. I am really into ninja warrior courses! I love to be outdoors and do things, such as rock climbing.

About Me

I am a sophomore at Portland State University. I am attending PSU in order to earn my Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. I was on Dean's List last year, and I have been part of a bouldering (climbing) group, as well as a member of the Formula SAE race care team where we are currently designing an electric motor race car. I graduated high school with my A.A.O.T. I am now studying the field of engineering with the goal to eventually design high-performance cars, or even motorcycles.

Experience

I have had the opportunity to tutor many students during high school. As a member of the National Honor Society and Key Club, I have tutored students in mostly mathematics, but also in science to some degree. As an engineering student today, I'd love to tutor more students who are interested in the same subjects as I am!

Approach

I have always been a student who catches on to new information fairly quickly. I have always observed other students' learning behavior, and I have realized that most students learn best when they are provided a solid background on the subject of matter. Once a background knowledge base has formed, then the details will make a lot more sense. The information will also stick with the student better.
