Fun Facts
I am originally from Plainfield, IL but I currently attend The University of San Francisco! I love science/illinois/joliet">computer science and math.
About Me
I am a senior Data Science major at The University of San Francisco. I've been on the dean's list since I got to USF, I am a university scholar, I am apart of the honors college, and I have a 3.9 GPA. I am in a club called Women in Tech, and I am also apart of a program called America Reads Tutoring. I have always had a passion for tutoring and have had over 7 years of experience.
Experience
During high school I worked for my school's tutoring program, called MTV. This stands for math tutoring venue. I tutored other high school students in algebra, geometry, pre-calculus, and other math classes. During my three years of college I worked for a program called America Reads, where I tutored children in elementary schools. I taught children how to read, write, and think critically. I worked with children who needed extra help learning to read and write with personal one on one sessions.
Approach
Since I have had the opportunity to work with people of all ages, I have found that different students require different tutoring approaches. During my first three years of college, I was required to take a year long course on different tutoring strategies. This has given me the ability to be very flexible depending on if the students is a visual, auditory, or hands-on learner. The class taught me different techniques for all different types of students, and all different learning styles.

Advance Statistics Tutoring
I have taken AP statistics in high school. I received an A in AP statistics and got a 5 on the AP test. I chose my major, data science, based off my love for statistics.

I took AP language and composition in high school, as well as AP literature. In college I rook rhetoric and public speaking. I received an A in all of these classes.

Math has always been my best subject. I have taken algebra 1, algebra 2, geometry, pre-calculus, AP statistics, as well as calculus 1. I received an A in all of these classes.
Philosophy Tutoring
I have taken two philosophy classes in college. I have taken ethics as well as problems in democracy. I received an A in both of these classes.
Political Science Tutoring
I started my college career as a political science major. I took AP government and politics, and several politics classes in college. I am currently involved in a political based living learning community.
Pre Calculus Tutoring
I took pre-calculus in high school and again my first year of college. I have also taken calculus, which used many skills from pre-calculus. I received an A in all of these classes.
Psychology Tutoring
I took AP psychology in high school. I got an A in the class, and got college credit for this class because I received a 5 on the AP test.
Spanish I Tutoring
I took spanish 1 and 2 in high school, and then took these courses again in college to make sure I fully learned them. I received an A in all of these classes.
