Fun Facts
I love being outside. I enjoy hiking with my dog Winston. I like to relax with day trips to the Appalachian mountains. I lived most of my childhood in Ellijay, Georgia before moving to Cherokee County in high school. I now live in Atlanta and enjoy the diverse and motivated culture of the city.
About Me
I am a senior biochemistry major at Georgia State University. I've been on the President's list for 2 years, and the Dean's list for the year prior to that. I am in the honors college as well as Phi Mu Fraternity. I volunteer at children's miracle network hospitals in my free time. I hope to attend a graduate chemistry Ph.D. program in the Fall of 2019.
Experience
I currently work in a research lab at Georgia State University. I regularly train incoming college students on experiments as well as in the scientific principles behind the techniques. Furthermore, I spent the last summer conducting research at the Indiana University of Bloomington. A part of this internship was based around teaching children (ages 6-18) the fundamentals of science at the Wonderlab science museum. Science is my passion and I love to help others see the wonders it embodies.
Approach
I feel that one on one counseling can be an immense help to actually comprehend material, versus mere memorization. I myself have benefited from tutoring and know the difference it can make in understanding.

Anatomy Physiology I Tutoring
I took anatomy and physiology 1 in Spring 2018. I received an A in the class. I still have related materials to this course- additional books, notes, powerpoints, etc that may be of use to students.
Biochemistry Tutoring
I have taken both honors biochemistry 1 and biochemistry 2 and received A+ in both courses. I am technically I biochemistry major and I intend to pursue a biochemistry-related Ph.D.
