Fun Facts
I have a passion for exercise! Whenever I find free time, I am probably swimming. My favorite place to be is at the beach at sunset. I love to travel, and have been to over 10 different countries. I can't wait to add more to the list!
About Me
I am a sophomore Bioengineering major at Santa Clara University. After I graduate, I hope to obtain a Masters degree in Nursing. I attended an all-girls private Catholic high school prior. There I received Honor Roll four years in a row, Math Excellence Award, Cum Laude, and various awards for my athletic achievements.
Experience
I was involved with an organization called Neighborhood Homework House where I tutored elementary and middle school students twice a week in my local community. I also taught a summer enrichment course for Pre-K students, which taught basic spelling, arts and crafts, and science lessons. I did this work regularly over four years, where I gained experience in crafting lesson plans and tutoring. Working for Frog Tutoring gives me the opportunity to impact even more lives of students that need help
Approach
I was fortunate enough to have amazing teachers throughout my educational career. My mother is also a middle school math teacher. I have taken all the methods that I have been from my own experience in classrooms and the different learning strategies I have seen in my peers. My mom gives me insight into teachers' mindsets, so that I can properly help students not only learn material but thrive in a classroom setting. I will do everything to help a students succeed and overcome their struggles!
