The classes at Anderson are taught by business professionals which most have actual experience in the business world and know how things work in practice and theory. I was also part of the AVID program for 7 years which taught me a plethora of studying and tutoring techniques. AVID is a non-profit organization that provides professional learning for educators to improve college readiness for all students, especially those traditionally underrepresented in higher education. Along with AVID I have acquired new and interesting studying techniques from working with other College students.

ESL Tutoring

I have a vast majority of experience with ESL. Having learned English as a second language myself, I know the difficulties that learning English can have. My first spoken language was Spanish and I am now fluent in both Spanish and English. I also have some basic knowledge of French so teaching someone who's first language is Spanish or French would be smoother for the both of us.
