I love making new friends. The best part is going out to eat with new people. I am very interested in shopping, fashion, and foods. Also, I love playing any kind of sports. I used to be a National Shooting Team member and won the gold medal in California.

About Me

My name is Terry Choi and I am an intended Business Administration major at the University of California, Berkeley. I have been in the Dean's List at UC Berkeley and currently have 3.93 GPA. I have been working as an academic tutor/consultant for more than 3 years, particularly in math. I have been receiving A+ in any math course since high school and 800 in both SAT 1 and SAT 2 Math.

Experience

In high school, I tutored students for Algebra 1&2, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus AB&BC as a member of CSF. Since I graduated from high school, I have been working as a college consultant to help high school students in their college application process and tutoring students;

Approach

Since childhood, I have believed that going to many after-school tutoring programs does not miraculously improve students' performance. It all depends on the students' mentality. Therefore I myself took advantage of Office Hours and self-motivate to learn. As a tutor, I provide counseling that is tailored based on each student’s qualities and abilities to help maximize their performance.
