Fun Facts
I love the outdoors...camping, hiking, photography and anything else that lets me be outside. I also enjoy travel and just returned from a year living in Asia. My wife and I are originally from Nebraska and have been married for two years.
About Me
In 2009 I graduated from Peru State College in Nebraska. I first earned a degree in Wildlife Ecology (Biology) and then also added a degree in Education with endorsements in Early Childhood and Elementary Education. I spent my summers in college volunteering overseas and have continued to work and volunteer around the world as much as possible.
I am a certified teacher and have taught in public schools both here in the U.S. and overseas. I have worked with almost every age and in many different subject areas. I have tutored elementary and middle school students as well as adults.
I believe the best way to learn any subject is through one-on-one instruction. Through this type of learning we can focus exactly on what may be causing problems or difficult to understand. I also try to make learning as enjoyable as possible and try to get the learner excited about the subject.
