Fun Facts
I love to sing. In high school I was lucky enough to be in a choir that traveled around the world to sing in wonderful places such as Notre Dame cathedral in Paris, France and St. John the Devine in New York. I also learned to read and write in Spanish before I learned to read and write in English.
About Me
I am a junior Psychology major at University of Puget Sound with a Spanish minor. Language has always been a passion of mine and I hope to pursue a career in speech pathology. I have an excellent GPA and hold an executive position in my sorority.
My washington/washington/tacoma">tacoma">tutoring experience includes working in a Spanish immersion classroom. In the 4th grade science classroom I aided the students who needed extra help getting on track with the class. I have also helped fellow classmates and siblings achieve their highest grade potential in their Spanish classes. I have studied language development and am well versed in the steps of acquiring both a first and second language.
I hope to use the skills I have acquired in my language development and Psychology courses to help students achieve their greatest potential. As a washington/washington/tacoma">tacoma">tutor, I will be able to guide the students in a manner that is best suited for them. Not only will I be able to guide them to the appropriate knowledge, but I will be able to teach them how to acquire the knowledge on their own. I would love to help any student with their language needs.
