Fun Facts

One thing I am extremely passionate about is dance. I have been dancing since the age of 3 and you can often find me in a ballet class. I am from Tuscaloosa, Alabama and went to the same school for 15 years before coming to TCU. I also enjoy running, painting, and traveling. One of my favorite countries I have visited is Costa Rica. I had the privilege of traveling there the summer after I graduated high school with my Spanish class and our teacher. I hope to visit Costa Rica again soon!

About Me

I am a freshman at Texas Christian University double majoring in Ballet and Spanish. I graduated as salutatorian in high school and have always made academics a priority. When I graduate, I hope to find a career that will merge my two passions of dance and Spanish.

Experience

In high school I was a member and held leadership positions in both Spanish Club and National Spanish Honor Society. I was given the opportunity to work with some of the students in the lower levels. I am looking forward to continuing this in college and help more people delve into the Spanish language!

Approach

In middle and high school I had a Spanish teacher who positively encouraged and pushed her students to reach their potential even when the content became extremely difficult. By having this positive learning experience, I want to show those students who don't have this positivity how much of a difference an optimistic environment can make. I will attempt to successfully teach the content as well as show helpful tips and phrases to help remember some of the more difficult aspects of the language.
