Fun Facts

I love to dance! I used to take ballet classes for 5 years and I'm looking to pursue a minor in dance. I also really enjoy art, and drawing in my free time has become something of a stress reliever for me.

About Me

I am a sophomore Biology major at CUNY Hunter college with a GPA of 3.57. I'm part of the Yalow Scholars cohort and have been on the Dean's List for the past 2 semesters. After graduation, I'm hoping to attend medical school and main goal at this point is to eventually become an anesthesiologist.

Experience

While I was still in high school, I participated in the middle school's after school program. As a part of this program, it was my job to be in charge of 10-15 middle schoolers and help them with their homework as well as prepare them for any tests they would have that week. Later on when I got to college, I also participated in the program Let's Get Ready. In this program, I provided SAT Math prep and college planning lessons to a group of high school students.

Approach

For most of my schooling life, I never really had the chance to develop study skills as most of the schoolwork came easily to me. However, as I progressed further and eventually got to college, I realized how important it was to develop these skills early on. As a tutor, one of my main goals is to teach the student in a way that they'll grasp whatever concept they were struggling with, and know how to study the concept to fully understand it.
