About Me
I recently graduated from school in Jackson, TN, with a Cum Laude degree in Mathematics. I am considering one day becoming a teacher but have not fully decided yet.
As a member of my college's basketball team, I was blessed with the opportunity to atlanta">tutor children around our area during all 4 years of my college life. It was truly a fantastic experience for me and was the catalyst in me deciding to go into the field of math/education. During the summers of my college years, I would come back home to Atlanta, GA and serve as a camp counselor for special needs children with other Cobb County Parks & Recreations staff. I really enjoyed connecting with those kids as well, who were, different from average children, but still were as gifted and smart as any kids I've seen my entire life. Now that I am working with Frog atlanta">Tutoring, I am excited about all of the students that I will be able to atlanta">tutor and serve as a positive role model for.
My atlanta">tutoring approach is rather simple. First I get acclimated with the student, his or her hobbies, the type of person he/she is, and mainly his/her needs. Once I'm familiar with that information, I "patiently attack" each area until understanding is captured and improvement is made.
