My passion is encouraging others. I love seeing a smile on everyone's faces even if it's me doing silly things to receive that smile. Jesus is the one that puts a smile on my face daily, so my life is lived following His example. I love traveling and have been to almost 22 States by now & I have a dream of visiting Israel/ Egypt one day.

About Me

I love working with children and youth and enjoyed doing so for many of years. Besides working in the education field I have also worked as a youth pastor, traveled to different states for U.S missions as well as worked in the social worker field and with foster youth. One of my goals is to complete a Masters in counseling because I love helping others find out how special they are and helping them solve problems in their lives.

Experience

I have worked in the education field for about 15 years. I worked with several tutoring companies, after school programs, served as an AmeriCorp member. I've also worked as a teacher for a few Elementary Schools, an Academy, and a Charter School in which I taught education/california/sacramento">Special Education with students on an IEP and 504. I've worked with all grades from elementary students - high school level, so I am versatile.

Approach

I enjoy helping children understand their full potential. I try to make learning fun. When children realize that learning can be fun, they forget or put aside the thought that they can not complete the problem or give the correct answer. I love showing the students that they can do anything they put their mind to. As a teacher, I understand the importance of having patience and learning the strengths of the student so that they understand that I truly care about their progress.
