Fun Facts

Born and raised in Arizona, I am a coffee fanatic, a growing runner, and a lover of all things antique. I love spending time with friends and family, and my three siblings are some of my favorite people! I love musicals, traditions, swimming, decorating, planning, and dancing. Those that know me say that I love to laugh and am always up for spending time and having fun with people!

About Me

I currently am a senior at Arizona State University, and my major is Family and Human Development. I also am in the Child Life Certificate program, which qualifies me to become a Child Life Specialist. After I graduate, I will pursue this career in a children's hospital, where I will support patients and families with the psychological side of medical care. I am also a student of Barrett, the honors college, at ASU and my GPA is 3.88. I have been on the Dean's List all four years of college.

I have always had a passion for learning, which has included helping others learn as well. For the past three semesters at ASU, I have been a college writing phoenix">tutor for the American Indian Student Support Services. I have loved working with students, and I enjoy discovering ways that students learn and encouraging them in how to improve their work. I am excited for the opportunity at Frog phoenix">Tutoring that allows me to support and foster students' learning and growth!

I have always loved getting to know my teachers throughout school, and the ones who had the most impact on me were the ones who got to know me and who both encouraged and challenged me in my learning. I believe that each student is different, and by listening to their concerns, and getting to know both their strengths and weaknesses, I can assist them in not only the specific subject they are seeking help on, but also their general learning and study skills. By supporting students through listening, offering suggestions, and encouraging their thinking, I believe in walking alongside students, while guiding them in developing a healthy and focused learning style!
